In her position as Programs Manager, Carrie coordinates all of the dog and client training activities and also supports our volunteers day-to-day in these programs. A lifelong dog lover, Carrie began her dog training in 4-H at the age of 11. She has been a professional service dog trainer since 1996, and before NICST she worked for 16 years at Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) as a California State Licensed Guide Dog Mobility Instructor and as their Northwest Field Manager, serving over 170 guide dog teams.
