Introduction to D4D’s Programs
The PAWS (Pre-Application Work Shop) of D4D is the name of the periodic, scheduled activity that introduces potential clients to D4D’s mission and programs. These 1 ½ hour events are held at the D4D-Nylabone Training Center on several Saturdays per year, currently scheduled for January, April, July and October. Please go to our Events Calendar to determine the next PAWS presentation that may fit into your schedule.
The PAWS are presented by D4D volunteers and include a presentation describing the D4D program, including a video of our clients sharing stories of how our dogs have changed their lives and improved the care of their diabetes. The presenters are able to provide information regarding all aspects of our program, including answering questions about applying to become a client.
Please visit our Events page for the dates of upcoming public events, including PAWS.
