Join the Happenings at D4D
Our events offer the community ways to get involved, receive support, and just have some family fun. Whether you’re attending a tour, meeting, or annual event, we welcome you to the D4D family!
Note: Dogs4Diabetics is taking precautions and actions to keep our community healthy and safe against the coronavirus. In doing so we have canceled our public “Tour Thursdays” as well as our “TypeYou” and “Pumps & Sensors” support groups for the months of March, April, and May.
If you should have any questions or need assistance please don’t hesitate to call us at (925) 246-5785. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time – wishing you and yours health.
Tour Thursdays: Come see us in action! Say hello to the D4D team, meet our dogs, and maybe sneak in some snuggles. Walk-ins welcome, 10AM-2PM every Thursday.
Pumps & Sensors: Frustrated with the technology for your diabetes management? Get your questions answered and learn about options in this monthly group led by co-founder Jeannie Hickey, who is also a RN, CDE, CPT. Open to all.
Type You: Find support in community. Discuss the unique challenges you face in your day-to-day life and receive help from other insulin-dependent diabetics. We welcome you as a unique individual in our community space. Open to all.
